I know it's traditional to do these things third person, but I don't want to.
I was born in 1971 (You can do the math yourself. I don't feel like continually updating this every time I have a birthday.) in Baltimore Maryland. I grew up in a row house with marble steps and a stained glass transom. I spent eight years in Catholic school, offset by atheist/agnostic parents who supplied me with books about magic and mythology and science, and who let me watch scary movies and British comedies at a stupidly young age.
I love screwball comedies, Film Noir, pulpy detective novels, British comedies, rapid word play, snappy patter, werewolves, and cheese. Somehow none of this has influenced my writing, which is terrible on my best days, and horrifying on my worst.
I have a lot of "worst" days. People seem to like what I write, though.
My first story, The Pardoner's Tale, was published by Torquere Books. After the contract on it expired I decided to republish it on my own. That's how we got here, where we are now.
Reviews of my books can be found on this page.
